We start with silver wire, which is twisted around different sized rods to create silver springs, also called “cannetilles”. We then use a little circular saw and guide to cut the spring lengthways into thousands of identical rings or links

Now the wonderful moment of creation can begin. There are thousands of ways of joining these links. Depending on their size and the pattern used the chains could be flat, round, square, oval, full or hollow.

It is the combination of the thickness of the wire and the size of the rod that determines the fluidity and the very feminine lace effect of the chain.

The different chains can then be brought together with high quality gemstones to make Mayabel jewellery which is completely unique.
